Rare books, manuscripts, music, ephemera…

As it’s Hallowe’en, it seemed an appropriate day to share this, one of the books I shall be exhibiting next week at the Boston book fair:

It’s a copy of the rare first edition of a curious novel, narrated by the wandering spirit of a man who, in a nod to the opening lines of contemporary fiction, tells us: ‘Je mourus subitement à Paris le vingt-cinq Novembre mil sept cent cinquante-deux’. The imprint, ‘printed in the ether’, adds to the supernatural fun.
For more details of this and other things I shall be bringing to Boston, please take a look at my fair list. Thanks!
